POLICE BODYCAM AUDIO - Momzilla flips out on Police after daughter's DWI Crash

On November 22, 2022, Officers Patrick Watkins and Dallas Gant responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Lakeside Drive South and Parker Avenue in Lacey Township, New Jersey. Upon arrival, Officer Watkins encountered one of the involved drivers, Brandi Rousse, who stated that while she was on her way home from working at the Moose Lodge, she struck another vehicle that turned right in front of her.

Officer Watkins conducted his investigation and determined that Rousse was driving under the influence. Consequently, she was taken into custody for the offense. While Officer Watkins handled the primary investigation, his backup officer, Officer Gant, managed the scene. During this time, Officer Gant had several encounters with the accused's passenger and mother, both present at the scene.

The passenger, quite displeased with the investigation's outcome, voiced her opinion. However, Officer Gant, ever the peacekeeper, managed to defuse the situation and safely transported the passenger home without incident. At the police station, Rousse refused to provide a breath sample and was subsequently charged with driving under the influence, refusal to submit to breath testing, and reckless driving.

Court records indicate that on April 25, 2023, a plea agreement was reached. The court dismissed the charges of refusal and reckless driving, accepting a guilty plea for driving while intoxicated. This resulted in a $640 fine and a 3-month requirement to install an ignition interlock device, with no loss of license.
